Can I sell cross stitch projects that the pattern is copy righted?
I recently started designing bookmarks to point cross, but used letters and forms from different sources and just combine them. for example, used the letters of a company and the image main source of another reason. I want to be able to sell these craft fairs and similar places. I just want to make sure that if I sell these items I have no trouble with copyright.
Your cross stitch pattern is a derivative work from any you are based on. If this work is protected by copyright, derivative works is illegal and considered copyright infringement.
