Car Dangle
Why are there some people putting cowbells or tennis balls in a bag on their trucks and cars?
We have noticed a few vehicles driving around here in the south with cowbells dangling from the bumper, then I saw a car that looked really vulgar with two tennis balls in a bag dangling under the car. This appears to have some sort of reference. Are they trying to give their vehicles gender or does it mean something else. (goodness forbid). Please don't be vulgar I am just curious.

The cowbell is just that-- a cowbell (but it should be up front, to simulate a cowbell tied around the neck of the cow-- nobody puts a cowbell on the back of a cow.)
However, making their vehicles male with the tennis balls in a bag (and, in fact, there are large molded plastic scrotums (scrota?) available, and I have seen plenty of trucks with them in Oklahoma) doesn't make sense. Everyone knows cars and trucks are FEMALE!
