my boyfriend read my diary whilst i was in the shower!?
My boyfriend that ive been with for 9months found my old diary when i was in the shower, im 15 and i wrote it about a 2 years ago (on and off). There's some stuff about him in there and how i used to like a friend of his and mine a little (me and my boyfriend didn't know each other when i liked this other guy) and there's some stuff about when i went to a party with my sister i wrote about this guy that was really hot and about how we pretty much slept on to of each other, we didn't but that's just how i worded it, ive never cheated on my boyfriend.
he believes me that nothing happened and says its fine (bluntly), i don't know what else he read, but its still quite bad, what could i do to make light of the situation?
also my diary was deeply buried in a box..
He should never have read your diary - it is an invasion of your privacy and he shows a complete lack of respect, it wasn't like it was even out in the open tempting him, he looked for it while you were away. If he wanted to know something he should have asked you, you could have had anything in there, he is totally out of order and you should tell him that, don't feel guilty, you have done nothing wrong, your diary is for you to read only, you can write what you want.
