Digital Bookmark
Favorites in XPSP2 inot working since I downloaded and used IE7. To reinstall IE7, do I uninstall first?
I can't add any new bookmarks or folders about 8 out of 10 attempts. Since no one seems to know how to fix this, I guess I have to reinstall IE7. How do I do this without creating more problems? The thing is, I can't believe how much I actually like IE7. I know Firefox and Opera are better, but I just don't have the time to hassle with the fact that, unfortunately, Microsoft is still the bully that does have easier access, etc...when it functions properly!!!
How do I proceed? Same question , kind of, about Sonic's Digital Media Studio.....do I uninstall before installing a different Sonic program (Creator)? I understand the rule, in general, is to uninstall first, but it is confusing when the software you are installing is like an upgrade . The Sonic thing has made a big mess, and I keep getting error messages whenever I boot up my pc. I have to add more ram....that wouldn't affect the Favorites, would it? Thanks.
It's better for you not to use IE7 because it will give you more problems. Uninstall IE 7 form the Add/Remove panel or use system restore to go back to IE6. IE6 is a lot more stable than IE7. You still can use IE6 to run Window updates and everything else. Use FireFox for your internet browsing, it's not much different from IE7 and you can customized it anyway you want. It's real easy. Adding RAM won't affect your favorites at all and it will make your PC run faster.
