Would a 12 ga shotgun that has fired about 25000 round be worn out?
My friend wants to sell me his beretta silver pigeon over and under shotgun he says its 10 years old and hase shot about 25000 rounds would the barrels be worn out?
The gun has manly been used for clay targets

To answer your question the barrels should be checked with a bore clock. This will determine if they have become worn. A visual check for pitting. I would also check for rocking in the action and wear and tear on the springs.
