Is it bad to leave my Wii on connect24 (yellow LED) all day and night?
I heard that it can damage the ATI. Do you have any experience with this? Have you had any problems? how long have you had it on there?
I heard that it doesn't hurt the new Wii's and that it only hurts the release models. is this true? my wii is new.
OK then, leave it on, then feel how hot it gets! There is no way, that after a console is allowed to become so hot for any period of time, that it wont cause any kind of damage. I have had my Wii for over 12 months. My daughter and son in law work in a game store, they told me that when you finish playing for the day you should put your finger on the console power button until it goes red to prevent it overheating. I f you dont believe me, then fine, leave connect 24 on all the time and see if you have a working console in a few months time.
