How can I attach a wall outlet to a car battery?
I want to use plug-in lights for a nighttime scene I'm filming in the woods, which is obviously impossible without an independent power source. I'd love to know how I can attach a wall socket to a car battery so that I can plug in my lights in the middle of nowhere, seeing as I've got a budget that adds up to a grand total of nothing.

You need a power inverter - you can usually find them at auto supply or camping/outdoor stores.
Make sure you get one that can deliver the amps needed by your lights.
